The people at Hyperflesh have created a Charlie Sheen mask, but before you think it’s like that William Shatner mask that Michael Myers wears, it’s not. It is in fact, very realistic, and if it wasn’t for the fact that it is a bit bigger than a standard head, you might believe the person wearing it is actually Sheen.
Artist Landon Meier is responsible for creating this Sheentastic mask. He actually sculpts, hand paints and even places each and every follicle of hair in order to bring the warlock to life in amazing detail. This work, as you can imagine, is very time consuming and thus it’s necessary to get $2500 in order to be able to make it practical. Now, those scoffing at $2500 should watch the video. Seems you can be an instant celebrity with one of these. Although I would hate to think what would happen if you wore one near a police station. But still it seems like it could be a lot of fun for Halloween. We just hope there isn’t a lot of sudden reports of people robbing banks as Sheen like there are Darth Vader, who’s cheaper to emulate.
The Charlie Sheen mask debuted at Mask Fest 2011 which is an annual event for mask making enthusiasts. There are seminars on sculpting, demonstrations from some of Hollywood’s greatest makeup artists. There are also monster props, sets, masks and others to purchase for one’s collection including Charlie’s.
If you would like to see more of Meier’s creation, like the scary baby mask, you can visit for more info on their creations.
