Sheen stirred up some trouble on the way to his DC show when he got a high speed police escort because he was running late to the venue for his Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour. It seems that the DC police are only supposed to provide escorts for the president and vice president and others heads of states or dignitaries. All others have to be cleared by their superiors. But apparently for Sheen, all the rules were thrown out the window, as he sped through DC at sometimes 80 mph with a police car in the front and back of his two SUV transportation. Although a spokesman for the police said that his people paid back the department for the cost of escorting him from the Dulles Airport in Virginia to his location at the D.A.R. Constitutional Hall, a total of $446, the matter is still being investigated by Internal Affairs for misconduct on the part of the officers that gave him the escort, because it was not authorized. Sheen’s next stop is in Tampa, FL.
Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife and mother of his two daughters, spoke out about his behavior as of late on a Bravo talk show Watch What Happens Live! She says that the ex-couple is not in a good place right now, even though she offered to take temporary custody of his two other children that are caught in the custody battle with ex-wife Brooke Mueller, an offer Charlie did not shoot down. She especially finds the use of her name and the derogatory comments, many of which are written up on blogs and news services, that he makes against her hurtful as one can imagine. Richards says, though, that it’s his show and he can do what he wants. She also stated that she accepts his wild lifestyle for what it is but doesn’t think some parts of his life are appropriate for their daughters.
And finally, Charlie Sheen has joined the smartphone digital world with a new app for the iPhone. It called MaSheen and retails for $2.99. The app includes 17 videos of the warlock and a version of a digital 8 ball called Magik Tiger. Yes it is spelled that way. The interactive “toy” allows you to ask questions and it returns Sheen’s trademark phrases. And of course, there is a way to buy Sheen merchandise. New things can be added to the app at anytime. Whether it’s worth it or not, the jury is still out. Expect an Android version and an unrated one soon.
