Charlie Sheen’s friends now say that the embattled actor regrets what he did to lose his job on the popular TV show Two and Half Men and finds himself jealous of Ashton Kutcher, who will be joining the cast this season. He realizes that the crazy antics that he thought would not get him fired was what did him in and that he’s not going back. Being a fan of Kutcher, they say Sheen also speculates that the replacement is a good choice, that Kutcher has a chance to bring the show back to life and it may even be more popular without him in it. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but if it’s any consolation, we think he will be sorely missed by his fans who aren’t always the same as Kutcher’s.

Entourage creator Doug Elin really wanted to get Charlie Sheen to star in at least one episode of the HBO show before it ended after eight seasons, but it was not to be. They could not get it arranged and it is now too late, because the final script had to be completed so that filming could finish up.

And in a strange note, Courtney Love blames Charlie Sheen for her addiction to heroine. The wife of Kurt Cobain, who was the front singer for Nirvana before killing himself, says that she was introduced to the drug at a party back in the 80s for the first time at his party. Although Sheen didn’t himself get her to take the drug, Love says it was the culture of the evening and her friend told her that everyone is doing it, and so she gave it a try after being sober. It was that event that led her down a path of heroine addiction that would have a significant impact on her life, though she claims that she is has been clean of the drug since 1996, despite an incident in 2005 where she tried to kill herself by overdosing on it.
