As many of you know, Sheen was married to Denise Richards (Starship Troopers, Wild Things) for many years. They have two children together. There is five year old Sam and seven year old Lola. As recently as October of 2010, they had seemed to put aside some of their differences and played together with their kids. With all that is going on in his life, Richards has become more and more wary of letting him see his daughters.

A few days ago, it was reported by Richards that Sheen wanted to take photos with his children and when she didn’t go along with his request, he supposedly threatened her with physical harm, although it was not clear as to exactly how or what was said. Sheen’s camp denies that the event ever took place, but with his recent insanity, it’s hard to know whether it’s just a matter of exaggeration or a real threat.

What’s makes it plausible is that he lost his kids to one wife and now he is being denied requests by his other wife. This is got to be frustrating for him and a father misses his kids as much as the mother does in these instances. This doesn’t mean it was true, just that with his current state of affairs, it’s not hard to believe. But we’ll never really know unless more specifics are released and I doubt that is coming.

So we’ll just chalk it up to another day and leave it in the rumor category for now.
