Jon Cryer, Sheen’s former brother on the show Two and Half Men, was interviewed at the 2012 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards. When asked about Ashton Kutcher, he couldn’t help but praise his new co-star, but had to get a dig in anyway for his old one.
Some people are saying that it’s a bit childish at this point to still be throwing barbs at Charlie Sheen, but what Cryer said wasn’t really that terrible, but a fact that Sheen would probably admit freely at this point. There were days that he was apparently late or didn’t arrive at all to the set according to his co-worker. And that Kutcher was less suspenseful in that regard, even though the new castmate’s personal life has had a lot of turmoil lately with Demi’s problems and the divorce.
But then turnaround is a bit of fair play. Sheen did say the other day that Two and Half Men should end this season, so one has to wonder if it wasn’t a bit of retaliation for that statement during an interview in Miami about his new show Anger Management.
Cryer did say, though, that he wishes Sheen the best on his new endeavor.
