Friday we told you about how Sheen was signing a deal with Lionsgate to produce a new sitcom. Some new information has arisen on that deal, including the title and the part that Sheen will be playing.
According to sources close to the now revealed as negotiations, rather than a done deal, the show will be a TV version of the film Anger Management, with Sheen taking on the role made famous by Jack Nicholson. Sheen will play a therapist, if all is signed, that has some very odd techniques on how to deal with anger, including living with his patient with the sole intent to annoy him into submission. No word yet on who the victim will be, but isn’t this pretty much the same role as Two and Half Men? Charlie spent his whole time basically picking on Alan, making him sorry at times that they lived together. I guess that is what drew Sheen to the show, that and a paycheck. However, we do think that he’d be pretty good in that role. We have to wonder what Nicholson thinks of the whole thing though.
