In a surprise piece of news, Brooke Mueller, who had recently slipped in her goal to stay clean and wound up back in rehab, has agreed to let ex-hubby Charlie Sheen have joint custody of their twins, two year old Max and Bob. Their lawyers met with the judge to tell him that they have reconciled their differences in the matter and would like to have both have parental and physical rights to the children. According to reports, all that needs to be done now is for both to sign the agreement.

Charlie will not have as much time with the kids as Mueller will, but I’m sure he will be glad to see and spend time with his children again.

Meanwhile, Mueller was on Paris Hilton’s new reality show “The World According to Paris”, which documents the young heiress’ life by letting cameras into her home and filming candid moments. Perhaps the most candid though came not from Hilton, but from Brooke, who fell into tears during a fight with Hilton’s mother Kathy, as well as ranting and raving about Sheen, and a fight with her assistant over her addiction to alcohol. The show is not live and was taped at an earlier date, when Mueller was in the heart of the battle for custody. She would later admit to substance abuse and checked herself into rehab. Next week’s episode includes Mueller getting made over by the Hilton clan, which she’s not happy about, for a double date, her first date since Charlie Sheen.
