A while back we told you that Charlie Sheen went into the studio with Snoop Dogg and recorded what many speculated might have been some sort of prep for his tour. It was actually a rap single with Snoop Dogg and Rob Patterson from the band Filter, with a cameo by none other than cheese queen Carmen Electra. “Winning” is the name of the track. What else would you expect?
The release coincides with Charlie’s new interest in charitable deeds, giving all proceeds from the song to the Torpedoes Against Tornados which was set up to help the people of Tuscaloosa, Alabama to rebuild after a one mile wide tornado wasted the town. Charlie visited the disaster area and he promised that there would be some sort of fundraising for the survivors.
So what is the song exactly? Well first of all, the song is not at all family friendly and mostly is concerned over two things, Sheen’s smoking and his odd thoughts set to rap. But Charlie isn’t the one doing the rapping. Snoop Dogg does 95% of the song with Carmen Electra throwing in a few words at the beginning, where she asks Sheen if he’s winning and Charlie is heard to say a few choice expletives as the song progresses, talking about the quality of his “dope.” He also says “Winning” throughout. So if you have kids, you may not want them to listen to the “Winning” song. The song, however, isn’t bad as rap songs go, and some of it is actually pretty entertaining, but it is heavy on swearing and content, but then a lot of rap is.
You can buy the track on iTunes starting later tonight.
