In this episode, Charlie Sheen talks to an associate of his on the speakerphone. His mind is like a top, spinning at 100 miles per hour and firing off all sorts of random comments to his friend. He is drinking what he called an elixir which is probably some sort of liquor, but he wouldn’t reveal it he said without getting paid. He’s also smoking a cigarette, which at one time he decides to put in his nose and snort the smoke directly. Of course his catch phrase of “winning” is mentioned many times during the 11 minute conversation/rant. He seemed very annoyed at the incoming phone calls that threatened to interrupt his video, as well as the sound of helicopters over head. I did crack up when he mused about how helicopters started with the word Hell. He talks about a poetry book he wrote and how publishers are interested in it. He also mentioned a book idea he’d like to sell to Amazon directly for their Kindle electronic book. The title, he said very dramatically with hand motions, is Apocalypse Me: The Jaws of Life. The reason he wanted it on the Kindle was to save trees and he kidded, at least we hope he was kidding, that he should marry a tree, it would work out better for him.
He had some funny moments, but all in all, we worried for him. It’s hard to tell whether he is doing this as an “act” to gain popularity (and he is a genius) or he really is in serious need of treatment. We hope that this is all one big social media blitz and not the downfall of arguably one of the funniest men on TV.
You can watch the video here. There is profanity, so be warned.
