One thing that we haven’t heard too much about during this debacle is the other cast members of Two and a Half Men.  Jon Cryer, who is an Emmy award winner, has been what Sheen considers silent on the whole issue, making him a troll.  He even said that Cryer had not even contacted him at all.  This isn’t true, according to Cryer’s reps, but they would not go into details about what was said out of respect.  Our guess is that it was not as supportive as Sheen would have liked.  In all fairness to Cryer, Sheen is kind of like the guy who says “I quit.  Who’s with me?”  And no one goes.  Each actor has to make their decisions as to how it affects their career.  Biting the hand that feeds you is not always the best choice.  Sheen says that he will not forget the betrayal and when he’s making multimillion dollar films, Cryer won’t even be able to beg him for a part, even if Cryer were to extend his hand now.  Somehow we don’t think that that fear is at the top of Jon’s list.

Sheen has stated that he does not believe that many of his co-stars on the show are trolls, however.  He said he’s found support from a number of them including the young “half man” Angus T. Jones and Conchata Ferrell that plays Berta.  He also included Rose (Melanie Lynskey) and Judith (Marin Hinkle), as well as Two and Half Men director James Widdoes.

What will become of Charlie Sheen’s career in the future is anyone’s guess, but he does seem to be burning a lot of bridges and in Hollywood, those bridges ignite other ones.  According to his webcast and the comments he’s made in public, he considers anyone not on Team Sheen a troll, so from that broad a net, it’s hard to be too hurt by the comment.  On the other hand, studios may be hesitant to work with a time bomb waiting to explode on them.
