After his rant about Chuck Lorre and his recent problems with drugs, the production team has decided that they can no longer work with Charlie Sheen anymore and told CBS that they have fired him. The show had already suspended production for the remainder of the season earlier this week. CBS and producers have decided to pay the cast and crew for the remaining episodes in fairness to their sudden decision. Sheen had offered to pay them if need be, which we thought was very cool of him. Whether the show will return next season with a new cast member to replace Sheen or not remains a mystery, but we are pretty sure that the network does not like losing its number one show. Although there is no guarantee that the show would remain at number one without him, although Chuck Lorre has a talent for finding the right fit for his shows.
In this digital age, we all found out, including Charlie at just about the same time, that he was no longer a part of the show. He apparently learned the news while having a meeting with Live Nation, for which he brought one of his Goddesses. After hearing his fate, Sheen wound up on the roof of the building with a few people, liquor bottle and machete in hand, answering questions from the street. At one point he was asked “You’ve just been fired from Two and Half Men. What are you going to do now?” for which he replied, “I’m not going to ****ing Disneyland, that’s for sure!”
Of course, all of this hasn’t been settled in the legal sense. Sheen did have a contract, that the studio and production company considers breached, but that’s something that will have to be decided in the court and Charlie’s lawyers are definitely not backing down from the fight.
