Charlie Sheen is just full of surprises. There had been rumor that there might be some reconciliation in the air between him and ex-wife Brooke Mueller. And now he’s romancing her in a getaway for her birthday to the very country he saved her from recently.

Sheen and Mueller flew down to Mexico to get away from it all, after Sheen had flew her back to Los Angeles to get help with her addictions from his doctors, rather than suffer through what is an intense and in the US, illegal treatment. And that show of chivalry had really put some sparks back in the air for the couple who are now relaxing in the Presidential Suite at the Four Season’s Punta Mila. The $15000 suite comes with a private pool, their own butler, and five bedrooms, although I should think they’d only need one. But then who knows?

Max and Bob, his twin sons, are probably home with Brooke’s mother, but we have to wonder what Natalie Kenly is up to this week. His Goddess can’t be too happy about this private retreat with the woman he loved and apparently still does. It will be interesting if she has anything to say about this in public over the next few days.

Meanwhile, Charlie is said to be charming Brooke in an effort to get her back, even going as far as arranging a beach side birthday dinner with beautiful candles and the food of the country including fish, fruit juices, and salad.

I guess this is the changed man that Emilio Estevez is saying that his brother is.
