Charlie’s lawyers denied a report by TMZ that said that he had bailed out troubled ex-baseball player Lenny Dykstra after he was arrested for embezzling almost half a million dollars worth of stuff from his bankrupt property. Sheen, is however, best buds with Dykstra who played for the Major Leagues, to the point that they appeared on the Alex Jones show together, praising each other almost like a couple of schoolgirls. Dykstra even went as far as to say he’d take a bullet for Sheen, after Charlie called him one of the best dudes alive.

Sheen will take a break after his tour to fly to Australia to get together with another friend, James Dooley, who hosts the Aussie breakfast show Nova. The pair met during an interview that he conducted with the warlock last month, and it was Dooley who helped him create the now infamous bus heist from Warner Brothers backlot video. Charlie had said in Florida that he will bring some scripts with him and that him and Dooley would create their own replacement for Two and Half Men. Whether that was true or not is yet to be seen, but the radio announcer wouldn’t put it past him.

Charlie’s ex-goddess Rachel Oberlin pleaded guilty in her home state of Indiana on a drunk driving charge she’d gotten in February when she hit a light pole. The plea bargain that she struck with prosecutors would include no jail time and just one year unsupervised probation, a pretty light sentence for the offence.

Apparently Charlie Sheen found a receptive audience in one of the highlights of his often bashed Violent Torpedo of Truth tour when it stopped in Houston Texas. The show met with a standing ovation and according to local reviewers was actually very funny. They also liked Jeffrey Ross, who serves as Comedy Central’s Roastmaster, who had some harsh things to say about Sheen all in good fun, of course. For instance, the comedian said that Charlie was disappointed when he found out that Texas was the Long Star State, and not the Porn Star State. The tour now heads to Dallas tonight before heading off to Denver, CO.
